Mission Sunday

On 30th June we spent the service hearing about the persecution of the church and praying for our brothers and sisters who live in deeply challenging conditions.

Spiritual blessings

On 23rd June we welcomed back Keith King who spoke from John chapter 15. Keith spoke about the spiritual blessings which follow when we “abide in Jesus”. The gremlins stayed out of the machinery this week, so please listen as first of all Lesley reads this passage and then Keith speaks.

On 16th June we were delighted to welcome Keith King who continued our series on Living in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost

The day of Pentecost – June 9th 2019. Andrew used the passage about the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37 to explain how God sends His Holy Spirit to restore the holiness of His name. Andrew went on to pray for Seer Green to be a fruitful place, empowered by the same Holy Spirit. The sermon starts with the reading from Ezekiel 37.

We are what we believe

Over the next few weeks we will be learning more about the Holy Spirit. On 12th May Andrew introduced this series. He reminded us about the importance of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to the first disciples and he spoke about the importance of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers today.

Reconciliation

On 5th May we were delighted to welcome back Dave McGuire, a long term friend and partner of this church. The recording starts with Sean speaking to Dave about how he got involved with his work in Romania. Then Dave speaks about the importance of reconciliation, forgiveness and God’s love.
