Summer Sundays: at the allotments

Summer Sundays: at the allotments

Over the summer we are providing a recorded “service” each Sunday morning. In addition there will be the chance to meet socially over Zoom as a drop-in any time between 10am and 11am each Sunday morning.

This is the first Summer Sunday service, recorded mainly at the Seer Green allotments.

Here are the notices for the week of 19th July:

Each weekday from 12 noon to 1pm: Letters from Lockdown. A daily reading of one chapter from one of Paul’s letters, and a chance to discuss with others over Zoom. On Monday 20th we shall be covering Ephesians 6, and from Tuesday 21st reading Philippians, one chapter each day.

Monday evening from 7.30-8.30pm. The first of an eight session study over Zoom of Paul’s letter to the Philippians – A letter in isolation. This will be a Bible Study each Monday evening for eight weeks, led by Chris Justice.

Tuesday at 7.30pm. Church Night over Zoom. A chance to consider some important matters together in the life of the church fellowship.

Wednesday from 8pm to 9pm. Regular weekly SGBC prayer meeting by Zoom.

Saturday at 7.30pm. The Seventeenth Great SGBC Lockdown Quiz over Zoom.

And finally….

Happy birthday to Meg on Sunday, and Kerri on Thursday
