Lace Group

Lace Group

A Lace group is held in a church member’s home every Thursday from 10.30am to 1pm. The group began in a church member’s kitchen about 40 years ago. Bobbin Lace has been made in Seer Green for many years. The Parish Church Hall used to be the village lace factory. Bucks Lace is a tradition of this village and Torchon and free lace is also made.

The group was set out to be a outreach group from the church and still is to this day. We aim to support the ladies who come, and we did have a gentleman once for a while.
